The Marjorie Collins Centre relies on the support and dedication of its volunteers and the local community. If you are interested, there are lots of different ways you can get involved.
The centre has a great team of volunteers and we are always on the look out for new people to get involved. Take a look at our current volunteer vacancies
The centre also relies hugely on the financial support given by its supporters and from members of the public. We engage in a number of different methods of fundraising. We run a number of fundraising events throughout the year, as well as street/store collections and raffles. We also have a dedicated online donation site on JustGiving where all the money raised goes directly to the centre.
2016 is the 25th year since the centre opens and we will be looking to use this occasion as a way to raise vital funds for the centre. Our aim will be to raise £25,000 to mark the 25 years. This is a colossal target and it will require all of our members to get behind and support us as much as possible. There will be a 25,000 for 25 years committee set up over the next month and if you are interested in being part of it, or have any ideas to contribute please speak to Lorna.
You can see progress towards our target and make a donation yourself through our dedicated JustGiving page.
